From Dahlias to Spring Bulbs, A Preview of 2026

Exciting Changes for 2026

For our upcoming season, we're refining our selection by editing down from the 50+ varieties we grew this year while adding some exciting new flower varieties to the mix.

One thing we're particularly excited about is growing Floret Flower's Dahlia series from seed. This year, we made the strategic decision not to invest in tubers (such as dahlias, tulips, or daffodils) because they can be a significant financial investment. We wanted to keep costs manageable during our first growing season—though the downside of this decision meant we didn't have spring flowers to offer.

This year, we're ready to make that investment!

Introducing Our Spring CSA Program

We're thrilled to announce that we'll be launching our CSA program starting in mid to late March with ranunculus, followed by specialty tulips and more ranunculus in April and May. Check out our mood board here:

We're anticipating receiving these tubers in mid to late October and getting them all planted by mid-November. One exciting new venture for us—beyond my previous experience growing tomatoes and cucumbers in our high tunnel—is winter growing. Our ranunculus will spend the entire winter in the tunnel, with hopes of beautiful March blooms if all goes well.

What to Expect in Your Bouquets

Wing Ming Farm - Hudson Valley Local Flower Farm

Here's a preview of the types of flowers that will be the focal point of next season's bouquets. We'll offer a combination of:

  • Mixed bouquets - we had so much fun designing this year, see some of our favorite shots above
  • Single variety bouquets - for our specialty flowers because sometimes a minimal approach creates the most stunning impact
